The kits are 55” tall, 2.64” Diameter with a 38mm MMT and have an Aluminum Billet Machined Nozzle, just like the original ones. Our kits are a 2/3rd Scale version of the original’s featured in the movie October Sky, exactly 20 years ago! Each kit is signed by Homer Hickam and Ky Michaelson on a Certificate of Authenticity and is limited to 100 kits only that will ever be made. There is also a recovery package available for these kits that include everything you’d need to safely recover the rocket as well as a 3D Printed Altimeter Bay Package for electronics. On our website we have detailed instructions on how to build this kit along with a downloadable Open Rocket Sim file. This rocket will be perfect for a level 1 or 2 project or kept as a collectors item for years to come.

Altimeter Bay Package
The Altimeter package includes everything needed to put your electronics bay together except for the altimeters and batteries, all of the wiring, carriers, ejection canisters, switches, threaded rods and eyebolts are included.
The electronic bays are 3D printed from PETG Material. They are designed & manufactured by SMT Designs and are an easy way to set your electronics up and look fantastic to show off your beautiful Miss Riley Rocket. They perfectly fit the 7” couplers in the kits.
