Over the years, we have significantly expanded our parachute portfolio to support the full spectrum of rocketry applications—from 1,200-lb high-power launch vehicles to small 1-lb model rockets. At Rocketman Parachutes, we engineer recovery systems for every mission profile; no airframe is too large, too small, or too complex.
Our product line began with our Standard Parachutes, designed for stability, predictable descent rates, and reinforced construction capable of withstanding high dynamic loads. As the rocketry community advanced, new engineering requirements emerged, including compact packing volumes for head-end deployment systems and reduced mass for altitude-optimized vehicles. This led to the development of our Ultra-Light High-Performance series, which utilizes advanced textiles and low-bulk design principles for maximum efficiency in constrained airframe geometries.
For flyers seeking aerospace-inspired aesthetics and performance, we also engineered canopies modeled after NASA, SpaceX, and other multi-panel cluster configurations—optimized not just for appearance, but for consistent drag coefficients, symmetric inflation, and high stability during descent.
Today, Rocketman Parachutes support missions worldwide across a diverse range of aerospace and scientific platforms. Our systems have been flown on multiple space-shot's, including CSXT missions, SpaceX developmental projects, and Alan Eustace’s record-setting 135,000-ft stratospheric jump. Outside of rocketry, our parachutes have been deployed in NOAA oceanographic research for drift characterization and by the U.S. Navy for controlled deceleration and retrieval of maritime assets.
Every Rocketman parachute is manufactured in-house, enabling precise quality control, custom engineering, and rapid turnaround for time-critical missions. If you have a strict launch schedule or specific technical requirements, let us know—we will work closely with you to ensure your recovery system is flight-ready.
We look forward to supporting your next launch and contributing to a mission you’ll be proud of.
