These Shock Cord Protectors are the perfect way to protect your nylon shock cords. As they keep your high power model rocket’s shock cord against the heat of the parachute deployment charge. This sheath of fire-resistant fabric gives it extra protection and prevents fatal cord damage that can occur, allowing the rocket to separate at deployment. They are made out of thick Kevlar Nomex, and surged with Kevlar thread to prevent fraying. They come in two sizes, 30” and 60”, and fit any size shock cord up to 1” in diameter.
